Fehlermeldung nach Umzug des zentralen Code-Repositories

Body:

Hey there, I‘m Tamina Schneider, and I‘m one of those girls that can coexist with one of you Drupal nerds. I've been knowing my boyfriend Pascal Crott for six years now, and I was already with him when he started his ,Drupal issue‘. At present, I study business administration at Berlin and live together with a Drupalist who works at erdfisch. A few months ago Pascal told me that he will go to Drupalcon Prague with Daniel Wehner in September.

DrupalCon Prague - Day Three

Drupalcon is over. I managed to get myself to the convention center today, and it really was worth it. I head some nice discussions about Drupal with various people.

The best session I saw today was by Tim Plunckett, who is one of the heads behind "Views in core". The session was called "Drupal 8 routing: the method in the madness" and was basically about the ideas and functunalities behind the new routing system and explaining why hook_menu was detached.

Yesterday, a worst case scenatio struck me. I got the "Drupalflu". Therefore I can‘t tell a lot about what happened during the last official day of DrupalCon. However, one thing I would like to talk about, and what I actually intended to do yesterday is the card game „Broken Head“. I missed the BoF about it, but luckily I went to the coder's lounge this evening and got the chance to play some rounds with the inventer patrickd.

Today the 4.x branch of Omega has been released as a stable version. Fubhy (Sebastian Siemensen) pushed the release tag live on his BoF at DrupalCon Prague 2013. He briefly showed all of the new features compared to the previous version of Omega and explained the ideas behind it.

Drupalcon Prague - day one

The day started early in Prague for several hundred developers, gathering to watch the great traditional opening session by Jam and Robert Douglass. Apparently, this was the first time that Robert could not be there in person, but Jam did a great job in entertaining the people. It was a great piece of musical and play act work, performing a „hacked opera“ of the magic fluet, and about a noob getting touched with the community. There where songs, tears and jokes, very amusing.

Explaining the new routing system in Drupal 8: The Kernel

Single image:
Body:

As written on the previous blog entry we want to convert the request to a response. One example of a response could be the HTML page you currently see, some access denied page or just some JSON used as web service.

The object which is responsible for that is called the HTTP Kernel.

How to install Apache, PHP, MySQL, drush, Drupal on FreeBSD 9

For sure, there are plenty enviroments on which Drupal can be run. But often it is not clear how to get started. Therefore I will explain a very common way to run drupal on a FreeBSD System. Most of the steps should be almost the same on a Linux system.
